John Cyril (Jack) Cato was an Australian photographer. Born in Launceston, Tasmania in 1889, he worked as a photographer in Hobart and England before opening his own photography studio in Melbourne. He wrote for The Age newspaper and produced several books including the autobiography I Can Take It. Robert Menzies knew Cato through the Melbourne Savage Club.
