Details

Emily Dutton (née Martin) was a musician, artist and Red Cross worker. She was a pianist and violinist who gave public concerts for various charities and became a foundation member (1920) of the South Australian Orchestra. Dutton was also an artist and and exhibiting member of the (Royal) South Australian Society of Arts. From 1938 to 1955 she belonged to the South Australian divisional council of the Australian Red Cross Society. Dutton was the mother of writer Geoffrey Dutton.
